BIM models (IFC)

Projects aren't only 2D sheets. Upload an IFC model to a project and it becomes part of the reviewable record: viewable in 3D, inspectable by the chat.

Uploading a model

Upload a .ifc file the same way you upload a drawing set (see Projects & uploads). The platform records the model's schema, project information, and element counts, and makes the model available in the viewer.

Viewing in 3D

Open the model to explore it in the built-in 3D viewer, right in the browser with nothing to install. Orbit, section, and select elements to inspect their properties.

Asking the chat about the model

The chat can inspect the model on demand: element types and counts, properties, and how the model relates to the drawing sets in the same project. Ask in plain language, the same as you would about a sheet.

Revit users

If your source of truth is a live Revit model rather than an exported IFC, the Revit add-in connects the agent to the model directly, including pushing corrections back.
