Use case: Hand the field team a completed checklist without retyping a thing.

What you can generate​

  • Written reports: ask the chat to write up findings, comparisons, or research as a formatted report.
  • Spreadsheets and tables: counts, comparisons and summaries as a real .xlsx you can open, sort and hand on.
  • Annotated plan sets: your drawings with every finding boxed and numbered on the sheet. See Export issues.
  • Plan-review letters: a formal, numbered comment letter that matches the annotated set.
  • Completed forms: attach a checklist or inspection form and get it back filled in, in its original format. See Fill in any form.
  • RFI drafts: generated from a chat thread when the work calls for one.

Where outputs live​

Every generated output is saved to the project and appears alongside your documents, so last week's report is always a click away. From there you can:

  • Open it in the viewer - spreadsheets, Word documents and PDFs all render in the browser.
  • Edit it in place - spreadsheets and office documents open in a full editor without leaving the project, and saving creates a new version rather than overwriting the old one. See File types & editing.
  • Download it in its original format.

Outputs produced inside a chat thread are also returned in the thread itself, so you can check the result before going looking for the file.

Regenerating​

Outputs are generated from the live project data. Re-run a check or update the issue list, then regenerate to get a current deliverable; no manual reconciliation.
