Projects & uploads

The home screen

Your home screen lists every project you have access to. From here you can:

  • Find any project with search and filters.
  • Pin the projects you live in so they're always at the top.
  • Report a bug or request a feature without leaving the page.

Use case: Jump straight to the three jobs you touched this week instead of scrolling the full list.

Uploading a drawing set

Drop a PDF drawing set anywhere on the home screen, or use the upload button. Then choose:

  • Start a new project: for a brand-new job.
  • Add to an existing project: for a fresh revision or an additional document (specs, schedules, a consultant's set). Revisions of the same set sit side by side, ready for Compare Versions.

What happens during processing

The platform processes the set page by page:

  1. Each sheet is rendered and read, including title blocks, drawing numbers, and sheet names.
  2. Disciplines are detected automatically (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, civil, general).
  3. Schedules and tables are extracted into structured data the tools and chat can query.
  4. Everything is indexed so search, chat, and checks can find it.

Processing continues in the background; you can open the project and start looking around right away.

Use case: Add a fresh revision to an existing job so it sits alongside the previous version.

Supported files

  • PDF drawing sets: the primary format. Vector or scanned; multi-hundred-page sets are fine.
  • BIM models (IFC): view in 3D and let the chat inspect elements. See BIM models.
  • Building codes: upload once for your organization and browse them like a searchable library. See Code Review.

Sharing a project

Projects belong to your organization. Invite teammates from the users page and share projects so everyone reviews the same set. See Team & sharing.
