Quickstart

This guide takes you from an empty account to your first reviewed drawing set. It should take under ten minutes, most of which is the platform doing the work.

1. Sign in​

Go to app.getstructured.ai and sign in. If your organization is already set up, ask a teammate to invite you; you'll receive a magic-link email that signs you in without a password.

2. Upload a drawing set​

From the home screen, drop a PDF drawing set anywhere on the page or use the upload button.

  • New job? Start a brand-new project; give it a name you'll recognize later.
  • New revision of an existing job? Add the set to the project you already have, so it sits alongside the previous version and you can compare them later.

The platform processes the set page by page: it reads title blocks, detects disciplines, extracts schedules and tables, and indexes everything for search and chat. You can watch progress live, and larger sets keep processing in the background while you look around.

3. Run a QA/QC check​

Open your project and select QA/QC from the tools rail.

  1. Pick the checks you want to run. Checks are grouped by discipline (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, civil, and general).
  2. Choose which sheets to include, or run against the whole set.
  3. Start the run.

Each check works through the set and flags what it finds. Every issue is linked straight to the spot on the sheet, so confirming a finding is one click.

4. Review the findings​

When the run finishes, work through the findings in the QA/QC feed:

  • Click any finding to jump to the exact location on the drawing.
  • Confirm, dismiss, or comment on each one.
  • Assign issues to teammates; they get an email automatically.

5. Turn it into a deliverable​

When you're done triaging, export the issue list as an annotated plan set with every finding boxed and numbered, plus a formal plan-review letter. Or ask the chat to generate a written report.
